After many years of building and designing software, I fell in love with the world of food. From food styling to photography, each day I wake up dreaming of new dishes to create or taste and new adventures to be found.
For the past year, my efforts have been focused online. My photographs and blogs have been highlighted in the Seattle Times, the Chicago Tribune and on Food & Wine's featured blogs. My clients include Seattle Magazine, Portland Monthly Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom, Edible San Francisco, Phantasia Chocolates, Katia's Chocolates, Rising C Citrus, Wilkes Creative, Brains on Fire, Fresh Flours Bakery, Tom Douglas Restaurants, NWSource.com, Herbco International and Seattle Coffee Works. Working with me may be different than working with other photographers. I'm a firm believer in a natural process, from food preparation to lighting choices. I will shoot in studio light, but prefer natural light when it is available. I use basic equipment, just what I need to get the job done right.
